Official 350 Thread

Then that will be one project I wait on to see how difficult the install will be so I don't tear new material. I was thinking of going with the pleather or whatever it is called or a solid fabric like mark did. I second guess the flooring so now the search is on for another type. My biggest is looking for a trim around the fridge. My fridge was replaced by PO and there is a good 2" gap all the way around. Also going to replace microwave with a larger one to fit the hole and matches the fridge and coffee maker.

the de-installation was easy on the lower part near the mattress like dancer said... the others should be easy but can be a pain since the ss screws are 2-3" long!

Mark, I noticed you didnt reinstall the window shades. was there a reason why? Or did you do what i will most likely do (forget them till after i install everything.)

Mark,
Really looks good! Thanks for posting the pic's. Can't wait for this weather to break!

Wavedancer... Ha! Actually I didnt, but it would be typical me... I want to repaint these and didnt have the right color. The outside temp is so cold that I couldnt paint, and doing it indoors is out of the question, so I had to wait. I put the upper trim in only with 2 screws each, so its easy to take off.

HGM, thanks for the complement. I am really anxious to get a new comforter and some throw pillows. Looking out for something on Overstock or similar.

Ah, Gotcha Mark. Great pointer on only 2 screws. Scares me to think about the new fabric getting caught on the ss screws going in like they did coming out

Can anyone provide my with some A/C info? I am about to buy what I thought was a 1992 370 DA but I think I have now learned its actually a 1991 350 DA, it has 370 markings on the boat, either way we love the boat, I understand the boat has duel zone controls, it has a a/c control in the front birth and one in the rear birth as well but it seems to have only one a/c pump? does that mean it only has one A/C unit but some how controls the flow of air? I also noticed some comments about stereo's this one has a searay remote at the helm, is that unusual?

Here is a quick photo of the fabric we used for the vberth. Yes we went "NAUTICAL"

Im anxious to see what it looks like installed. Keeping fingers crossed

There should be heat/ac unit in the aft birth (under cushions" and the other is under the front vberth

Thanks wavedancer, the pics also look great, my follow up question is there only one pump for both units? To give you some background, this boat is in the slip across from my currant slip. I live about 5 min from the marina, however the currant owner lives about 4 hours away, we plan on doing the deal in march so as you can imagine I'm getting a little excited (ok a lot excited) and trying to figure out what needs taken care of before we take possession due to the boat being winterized right now I am having to relie on memory to figure out what needs addressed. Ok so back to the a/c I know the currant owner believes the a/c works however I have never seen more than one stream come out of the boat when the a/c is on and the owner has mentioned that the front a/c does not blow out very cool air. Should there be two a/c streams? Thanks for the help.

Yes you are correct there should be two streams one fwd and one mid. It doesn't matter if you have one or both units running it will still pump water out of both. Yes there is only one pump for the both units. I certainley question this when I bought mine but check the diagrams and that is what it called for. If it is only pumping out of one maybe do a back flush to both discharge ports, may have build up or crud in them. Also clean the strainer for the pump may be dirty as well. If the air flow isn't pumping well check the filters to see if they are clean will make a huge difference. Oh and congrats on your new soon to be 350/370!!!:smt038

One pump in the bilge with one pick-up hose going to the through hull and strainer.
Two hoses come off of the pump for the two units.
Make sure Strainer is clean.
Make sure filter in forward v-berth is clean.
It makes a world of difference.
(I know from experience!!)

No aft v-berth on my EB so the air intake is below my stairs leading to cockpit.
When I removed the stairs last year I found about 6 inches of dust/fibers and hair blocking part of the rear intake!!
New bottom stair is now hinged so I can vacuum down there.
Sea Ray had no access to this area.
DUH!

hey Daniel what floor did you do there. I am still looking for one decided against Nuteek mainley for cost but that looks like it matches the teak trim down staires.

Oh nevermind just saw your thread and pics. It looks great man good job.

Thanks Dustin

Went down to boat this past Sat to check on things.
Stored outside, shrink wrapped.
Boat was cold, but the floor looked great.
No release of glue that I could tell.
Will see what spring brings.

Was a lot of work, but well worth the effort for the final look.

Pulled the raw water pumps yesterday. I was mistaken, they are not the combo fuel pump units. Tough location to get to but not impossible. Took about an hour for the first one but less than a half hour for the second. I will also be replacing the Raw water hoses. I am thinking about adding a 'T' in the line coming out of the strainer to make it easier to winterize.

The roll up door on the original TV cabinet is sticking and will not open all the way. Does anyone know how to get the top of the cabinet out so you can get to it? I would like to get it out to repair or replace it.

HGM,
I dont think that you can get to that cabinet from anywhere but the tambour door. Have you tried from below (where that small locker door resides)?
