As the boring winter rolls by it’s the best time to do our summer trips planning. We had some interest in the other thread on putting together another event where folks from Tri-State area can join. So, let’s start this thread with some ideas on how we can plan this event by choosing the time and place that works best for majority.
Just to bring back some memories, we had a great time last year by holding two events, here’s the link for those that missed it (I can never get tired of looking at these pictures): LI Rendezvous 2010 and post #118 here: http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26021&page=12
Please go to the last page and post your input and add your information if you wish to be added to the list as a participant.
Date: Friday August 12th
Location: Montauk Yacht Club http://www.montaukyachtclub.com/
Those 14 boats from "List of Participants" are now officially registered with MYC. Please call the dockmaster and provide your credit card info to complete your reservation. If anyone else wishes to be added to the participants list, please don't hesitate to contact me or the dockmaster directly.
Dockmaster: John Murray

Group Dinner (or "the Table of the Gods" as we call it in AC Rendezvous) - The event is scheduled for Friday August 12th at 6pm. If the weather doesn't cooporate we'll move the event to Saturday Aug 13th.
Please post your table offerings so we don’t duplicate the meals, but instead have very interesting menu of various choices. Also keep in mind that MYC dosn’t allow grilling on board, but they have several grills available at the end of the docks. We’ll need to bring charcoals if we want to use those grills as I was told that MYC doesn’t have charcoals in their supply.

So, if anyone wants to join but feel more comfortable traveling as a group (for admiral's and kid's comfot level), please don't hesitate and ask questions in this thread. We might have 3-4 boats traveling together from NJ area.
