OK. I just finished reading all 26 pages at 1:00 AM and had to comment. I really didn't want to stay up this late but reading this thread is like seeing a train wreck....you just can't look away.

Cpt and lacook, you guys have to admit that your pet is not the norm. Dogs and cats are the norm. If you want solutions about getting a pig on board your boat why would you possible think you would get it here. I do thank you for starting this thread though. Its been a while since I had a laugh this good.

And don't spew that crap about pigs being smarter than dogs, and cleaner that dogs, and tastier than dogs....oops, that was one too many. If pigs are so much better than dogs why do we never see bomb-sniffing pigs, or seeing eye pigs, or disabled assist pigs, or people out walking their pigs, or pig parks.

You people are clueless. You have acted upset and put upon by the jokes and porks, ehhrr....pokes at you. But lets face it. Owning a pig for purposes other than a future meal is just weird.

But I do have a suggestion for you to get Babe on and off the boat. Have you seen those big ships that trasport yachts over the ocean? The ships are like floating dry docks. They partially submerge the ship, float the boats on and pump the water out of the ship to re-float it and off they go.

Next time you want to get that beast on your boat just follow these intsructions:
  1. Make sure boat is floating in at least 10' of water.
  2. Bring swine in question near the boat
  3. Have Cpt remove the drain plug from the boat.
  4. When stern rail is just barely submerged replace plug
  5. Now float the oinker into the boat
  6. Now start the pump to remove water from boat.
  7. Oops....I guess I forgot to tell you to put a pump in the boat.
  8. Let the whole mess, pig and all, float down the Mississippi
  9. Go buy a Colman pop up camping trailer, get a dog and forget boating.

DAMN! :wow:

C'mon Guys....I'm just having some fun here. But you have to admit, owning a pig as a pet is a bit out of the mainstream.

I don't know how to set up a poll but I think we need one. You know, sommething like this:
  1. How many people own pigs as pets
  2. How many people know someone that owns a pig as a pet
  3. How many own dogs as a pet
  4. How many think owning a pig as a pet is weird
  5. How many think boating with a pet pig is weird
  6. How many think this thread is hilarious
