I've tried to stay close to the line, what a mistake. I think I'm in the 50K place.

I was wondering if you could actually do that. It looks like "Northstraightthroughthestrait" is closer to the finish than the leaders, but the game says is he is almost 6000 miles away while the leaders are less than 3000.

Wow whata way to go the poor bloke!! must never have slept.

I'd let him win the race just for being cheeky, but the rules say that the bouy off the tip of south america must be kept to the north, therefore he has blown it i think, shame!!

At the moment im more worried about the path that i have decided to take!!!

plus i had to use a sail repair kit as i shredded my spinnaker to bits :smt089
 
Actually, the rules state that you must pass the bouy on your port. So technically he can swing out a little from Brazil cut back in and he would pass the bouy on his port, be it 1000 miles away. It's going to be up to the judges to decide, but I think since the rules are so vague, he might have a chance.
