Kevin, Google sure has a nice street view of your boat! The photo credit says it was taken in April of 2022.

Ha, that's funny. Too bad it has the old canvas. Must have been April of last year while I was waiting for the new enclosure as it has the boot stripes and bottom paint....looks sooooooooo much better when the canvas and boot stripes match.

Happy Easter everyone! I made it down to the boat today to inspect the final product on the new lettering. I took a couple of pictures of the fish locker lid to share. I’m happy with the results!

That looks great! New owner of a 2002 here... I'd like to order the vinyl before next weekend to letter ours. Do you mind sharing the width of that door? I can't find info on it anywhere online

Welcome to the group! Post up some pictures of your boat if you don't mind. I believe you are the first or second 450EB owner here who has Volvos in the engine room. And if you don't mind sharing your HIN and Sea Ray number, I will include your boat in the unofficial registry on the first page of this thread. :)

Thanks! So glad you started this group as I've had a tough time finding certain info on these boats, well especially the Volvo Pentas and ZF gear boxes. Hull# SERP5353E102 450EB-503. I will post some new photos when we drive down to the boat next weekend to put the name on :)

I actually had your HIN number in the registry, just not the internal Sea Ray number. Thank you for the information. Here is a breakdown of SERP5353E102 450EB-503 for you:

"SER" Vessel is a Sea Ray
"P" boat built in the Palm Coast FL plant
"5353" this is the serial number of the boat
"E" boat was built in May
"1" boat was built in 2001
"02" manufactured as a 2002 model
"450EB-503" is the internal Sea Ray number; your boat is the 3rd 450EB of the 2002 model year.
Happy 22nd to your 450!:)

Here is the photo I have of your boat when it was listed for sale. That is how I was able to obtain the HIN# searching on the USCG website under the name "Searenity." Great looking 450!

Hi All,

I'm assuming most have had this experience. When you haul the boat, the straps at the stern sling marks pullup, crack, unseal the engine room vents. (If you haven't removed these and epoxied the exposed core, do so). I've thought about using blocks (4x4's about 3-4-ft long) or some other kind placed between the hull and the straps to keep the EV vents safe, but am not sure if this is smart. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all comments

I was thinking a flat fender next time.

I have flat fenders on the boat, they don't pop out and imagine they would provide enough protection to keep the ER vents intact.

Going back to post #92 in this thread, I shared this picture of a screen shot of a haul out. The YouTube video that I grabbed it from (post #86) is now gone, but the video showed the vent being pulled from the hull by the the sling. In this still shot, I think you can see the separation at the bottom of the vent.

Here is another new listing in Florida. This boat is not USCG registered and the ad does not list the HIN number. 2001 three stateroom model, "Mira Gratia" appears to have a Florida state registration tag. Listed at $199,000.

Edit:
I grabbed a couple of pictures from the ad that I thought were noteworthy. Check out the ice chests that appear to be the supports or bases for the bench seat in the cockpit:

And the dual helm seats:

Well, after 4.5 months (thanks to broken bolts and endless work travel) I got the mains fired up tonight. One small raw water and two small oil leaks. Got one oil leak fixed immediately and hope to fix the others tomorrow and get a quick shake down under power in hopes to take the boat out Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Still fighting the port heat exchanger bracket and getting the lower bolt to thread in, there is no room over on that side.

Well, they could have washed the bird poop off the canvas before the video...lol.

Also, why not spin that cool open array radar in the video.

Nice boat though.
