Hi, has anyone installed plasteak EZ BOAT SOLE flooring ? If so any pics? Do you like it?
This will be our 4th season with it. I holds up really well. It is hot in July/ Aug. If it gets stained you just take a 3m pad to it and it sands right out. When wet it is not slippery at all. It really updated the age of the boat.

I installed EZ BOAT SOLE a few years ago I really like it and it was easy to install. I installed the cherry and holly it’s a little lighter than the teak and holly. The product is actually Nautic floor based on the labeling on the packaging.

Ok gurus....my 99 Sundancer 460da has the optional air horns-part # 796805...I push the horn button on the panel and get a "buzzing" noise somewhere in the forward cabin, cedar closet-starboard side. No horn......does anyone know 1. Where the damn air compressor is? And 2. How do I access whatever the heck is buzzing in that closet area on the starboard side ...(am hopeful it's the air compressor????)

I humbly await your expert advice.. .it has driven me to drink at this point!!!

I’ll tell you but you’re not going to like it!!!

inside the stbd master closet there is a cedar panel. Remove the screws to gain access behind it. Once you can see behind it, look to the stern a foot or so back...the small compressor is mounted there.

If you can reach it, remove the outlet hose and squirt a couple drops of oil in it, then hit the horn button a few times. This will work the oil in. Do this a few times and make sure most all of the oil is out. Re-attach the hose and you should be good to go unless the compressor is bad.

Hope that helps...but get ready to contort yourself..lol! An extra joint between your elbow and wrist will also help!!!

So Wolf--I am pretty sure I will buy you a steak dinner if I ever cross paths with you! I'll find some child labor with spindly long arms (my 19yr old son LOL) to try and make that fix happen.......thanks for the insight, I'll let you know how it goes next year (ok, on Friday).

Sounds like a plan!!

another note: that damn hose is attached with a freakin zip tie, getting it off is easier to just cut it. Luckily the hose runs forward from the compressor attached to the rub rail interior, so if something goes south, you can still patch it. :)

Sounds like a job to check out with my DEPSTECH endoscope camera first- maybe one of the best inexpensive tools I've bought so far to use....it helped me see the 2 screws at the bottom of the Salon TV mount that no human could ever view or find....lol. Its crazy how being able to see areas that are hard to reach is a game changer! Thanks
for the insight, I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

So Wolf-your'e game is strong! I found the compressor, it is blowing air, not sure how much, and have air at the horns but not working.........I'm going to have to figure out how to get to the actual horns though the exterior vent.....maybe a mud dobber has gotten into them ...if that doesn't work, I'm going to put on electric horns!

Maybe try using an air compressor with a long hose and air nozzle at the hose in the closet....push some serious air through them with that to get a good test! A nozzle like this....Neiko 31112 Air Blow Gun Set with 5 Interchangeable Nozzles and Over-Sized Trigger | 5 Piece Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FVUO4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_ZX87Fb7RVK9AM

See if that makes them work before tearing into it from the port side exterior...my experience, that was a pain and I really didn’t get anywhere accessing through the grille.

I've got a nozzle like that, I'll have to give that a shot. Thanks! This was my other project today...
