Thank you for service, in the USAF and as a LEO!I got out of the USAF in 1976 and got a job as a cop in a mid-size town in WA. Did that for 15 years before getting burned out on it. (snip)
My wife works for MSC as a BDE on the Gulf Coast. We just came back from Sid's Club. Were you there?I work for MSC Industrial Supply and we are very involved in the Metal Working Tooling world.

My daughter is in the process of getting her licenses. She currently works for a financial planning company and passed the first 2 tests of the 3 to get her Series 60/63 or something. She said the test series has changed recently or something but she said after she passes the next one she can put a bunch of acronyms after her name....lol. She is planning on taking the CFP soon too (Certified Financial Planner). She is 24 and likes her toys so hope she does well with it...lol. She already owns 3 houses, a 2016 Wrangler Sahara she bought new and a 2007 Sebring work car but just got off the phone with her and she is looking at Maseratis....ughI got out of the USAF in 1976 and got a job as a cop in a mid-size town in WA. Did that for 15 years before getting burned out on it. Took a job in management with a car and RV dealer (all my college was in Bus Admin). Did that for 10 years and decided I didn't like working for an owner who I caught in a huge lie. Quit that job and thought I'd take the summer off. Three weeks later a friend suggested I talk to a friend of his who managed a financial advisory firm. I did and was hired. Took the tests (series 6, 7, 50-something) and passed all.
Got my licenses and did that for about 11 years then retired. That was the best job I think I'd ever had.
Its a hard knock life i loved my work and kevel of appreciation from customers . Always found dissatisfaction when wirking for builders lol.I was a tile setter for 24 years. aint that the truth! if you dont have a job currently... you just dont want one! we have over 100 open rec's currently across engineering alone. that doesnt include everything else here. we have everything aerospace engineers to janitors positions open.As a side note, the economy is cranking. Both of my kids (25 &27) have 100K a year jobs with great benefits.
