Yes, my jaw is on the floor

Inflation is up, already. Unemployment is up, again. Remember the 70s? Looks like Arthur Laffer is going to be right, again.

So, when do we get the details on this. We pay a big chunk of our employees insurance. But - what does this all mean we have some younger employees that their insurance is not that expensive. Then some older folks where their insurance is very expensive. I am still looking for some benefit to small business owners. I

Triage medicine is coming if you are old under this plan also, once one starts receiving social security, you have to take medicaid part "B." So if you cannot afford other health insurance and have to use Medicaid, well triage is there

Under this current proposed plan he stated he was also going to save billions by curtailing Medicare and Medicaid costs.

I do write and voice my comments to Congress Here is just one response I received back and I do not vote for one straight party candidates, but who I feel will be the lesser of two evils over the other. Makes no difference which party affiliation.

I received this in an email today, do not know who stated it, but *** seems apropos;

Today's Quote:

"Too many Americans grew tired of being thought to be dumb by the rest of the world, so they went to the polls and removed all doubt."

Perhaps the concept of RE CALL on Congressional Reps and Senators might be dusted off?

Yes. Dot org. Sorry about that. I'm on my blackberry and had a brain fart. Very interesting day. Seems that the house is on board with obama. The newdems are really nervous about passing a bill with a high price tag. Blue dogs are baulking. Tax and finance committee will most likely tear it apart. We shall see what happens. Stay tuned.

i wouldn't be so sure on it being torn apart. these are the same bozos who passed the cap and trade (crap and tax) bill. there is no common sense left in washington, or almost anywhere else in government (just ask ahnuld).

i hope our doctors don't all renounce citizenship, find an island , and start a new country....

then again, if they give g.p.s. coordinates....

"with Medical providers, employers and the wealthiest picking up most of the tab"

Let's see...

I am a medical provider (physician), employer, and "wealthy" (at least according to their standards). Add to that the fact that they are constantly whittling down our reimbursements and, well,... enjoy your free healthcare. Glad I could pay for it with everything I am worth.:smt013

BTW, how the F&%k does this make any sense?

Oh and the rising cost of healthcare is definitely NOT going to physicians. Not even subspecialists like myself. And yet, we are the only ones in healthcare that don't have lobbyists who have Obama, et al. deep in their pockets. I guess I am starting to get it.
FINALLY...THE $50,000 QUESTION WAS ASKED !!!!!.....

ON THE "ABC..OBAMA SPECIAL ON HEALTH CARE"......

OBAMA WAS ASKED "MR. PRESIDENT WILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GIVE UP YOUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE PROGRAM AND JOIN THE NEW "UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM" THAT THE REST OF US WILL BE ON ????.....

OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND DIDN'T ANSWER IT !!!.....

A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION AND THERE RESPONSE WAS...WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT !!!!

IT WAS ALSO ANNOUNCED ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL"....HAS WRITTEN INTO IT THAT CONGRESS WILL BE EXEMPT - ITS ON PAGE 114 LINE 22
OFTHE BILL- THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THEMSELVES AS THEY ALWAYS DO.... THIS HEALTH CARE PLAN IS SO GREAT FOR THE REST OF YOU THAT .. WE EXEMPT OURSELVES !!!!!

HOW ABOUT THOSE APPLES.....NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA OR CONGRESS.....BUT "OK" FOR THE REST OF US ????????
AND EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS: Unions Exempt from Health Care Taxes:smt013

the states that offer/regulate private insurance (currently 49 of them) stand to lose a combined 18 billion dollars in insurance tax revenue if/when the government option takes affect. Get your torches and pitchforks ready!
