I've lost track of how many overpriced boats I have looked at in the past 2 years, and ridiculous sellers. I sold my last boat a couple months before COVID hit with the intention of going a little bigger. Honestly, I have not found one for the money that I like better. And as much as bigger feels better, for my boating lifestyle, it doesn't make sense. Took me 2 years looking at bigger to come to that realization.

I regretted selling the boat a few months after I sold it. It was never meant to be a flip, but that's how it worked out, so I sold it.

Well, my last boat is on the market now for $2k more than I sold it for. I know the broker well. Seems it's still in great shape. I am seriously considering rebuying it, but that just feels, weird, strange.

Kind of like marring your ex wife after she got remarried. Well sort of.

Go for it…. The son of the guy I bought my boat from approached me to buy it back. He knew the boat and knew I took care of it as I am friends with the family. So in his eyes it was a safe purchase

Depends on who had it.. my last 3, no way. Poor boats weren't taken care of by the new owners...

I don't personally know the owners as I used a broker to sell it. I know the current selling broker very well, and trust him. I also know the service shop, and trust them as well. First impression is she looks as good as she did when I sold her and the maintenance/service has been kept up.

Sounds like she was taken care of. In that case, I'd do it!

Life is short!

Greg, if the people who bought it from you used the same service shop, seems like a win/win! I say go for it!

Great thread!

Yes! In a New York minute. Very regretfully I sold it in February 2020. I should have kept it.

I’d gladly pay more for it today.

Still have great memories of my Tiara. Best boat I ever owned.

Out of the few boats I have owned the 2 I would definitely like to have again are a 1984 CC 23 Scorpion and a 1988 32 Pachanga with an emphasis on the Pachanga. Loved that boat and still do.

Ha! the prior 2002 Rinker 342 No Way! Maintenance headache on those 6.2L MXs. Sold in May 2019. Guys who bought it just contacted me for receipt for the new outdrives I put on in 2018 because they are selling it after 1 year. Now, the boat before that, my Pachanga http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/1989-2012-pachanga-270.81985/ -Yes, I would buy it back in a heartbeat if I could find it! I sold to size up and after the 37 foot rinker episode, I am back to 270 DA trailering.

I would buy Beachcomber back in a heart beat. She is the most comfortable and accommodating boat I've had the pleasure of being on.

And no, 89 268. Was our favorite of the 6, i heard after we sold it she developed a wet/rotten transom. Fortunately the guy that bought was good mechanic/fiberglass and was able to rebuild her. So i heard.

Love it
