Ive tried many different products on my boats to clean the oxidation even the dreadfull 6 step 3M system , nothing seems to last or work for that matter , I heard about Woody Wax ,and how great there products work:smt038 , , I contacted them about there ultra gloss compound and a week later ,(yesterday) I recieved a box from them with a few samples of each product , I cant wait to get over to my boat and try the compound out , its cold here ,but boat is in climate controled storage with access for me , I may have to bring a 6 pack and relax on the boat to get rid of my winter blues

It is great that woodys wax sends samples... did you try Meguiars oxidation remover #49? I used it on a previous boat and I was amazed how well it worked... be sure to let us know how it goes for you...

Woody wax is great stuff. I use it religiously on the aluminum on my boat.

Don't know about woody wax, haven't tried it yet, but I will say Buff Magic is one of the best products I've used!!!

Yes, great products, although I can't speak for the compound but I am a believer in woody wax ultra-pine boat soap. Their Non-skid Wax is good stuff too. I know several people with sportfish rigs who swear by woody wax products, especially for tuna towers and other aluminum doohickies.

doohickies ,lol ,SR dad, thanks , ,cant wait to try there products, this saturday ill take some before and after pics using there compound and ill post them

John Hampton got me started on Woody Wax and I love it! I do trials on friend's boats to try and get them to use it to make their boats safer. I was helping with lines last weekend and even with my Sperry's on I was slipping on one boat and it was dry. I asked and he acknowledged....he waxes his top sides with regular wax. Someone's going to get hurt with him doing that. This may be a good idea for a Christmas gift!

Thanks for the point out. It is great on metal work, especially on the painted aluminum windshields found on some Sea Rays. It gets into the cracks and repels water for years.

I think it was Humph who posted a while ago about the Woody Wax for non skid and I have to say it does work great. Very easy to apply too! A litle pricey but it goes a long way and last quite a while.
