Yesss!!

This is what I mean that there are some topics that we had on SRO need to come back here!!

And I take 2 Prozac’s every day and a whiskey :smt101 :smt101

Thanks Stromeister!!

Good list!!!

I guess for MPI engines add a few ounces of 2 stroke oil to the fuel filter in lieu of the carburetur fogging technique. Someone told me to loosen the belts and tighten them up in the spring so they take a set.

Very good list!
I've been searching on-line for winterization instructions specific to my older SRs. I have the Service Manual but the guide is 30 years old and procedures and products change. Is there on-line instructions for specific Mercruiser models somewhere?
For instance, I never thought about using the pink stuff in the block, we've always used the green and tried to recover it the best we could in the spring. And engine foggers? I thought you just drowned them in 30w.
Whats the best source for winterizing mid 70's SRs? :smt009 Other than the old forum archives...?
Thanks

Good list! Hell, I need a pill and whiskey just from reading that long winded list!

Don't forget the ice maker!

Here is one I never thought about until I had one, Ice makers. I would never had thought about needing to winterize an ice maker :smt017

After I by-pass the water heater, and run pink stuff thru the water lines via a hose from the water pump into a jug, I leave the water system on, and the ice maker on, and run a couple batches of soft pink ice cubes.

Works like a charm.
