windlass installation 2004 240 Sundancer

I want to install a windlass on my 2004 240 Sundancer where the anchor/rode locker is on the bow now. A Lewmar Pro Sport 550 has been recommended. I could use any ideas or suggestions as to how to perform this installation including mounting the windlass in/over the rode locker area and which anchor and anchor rollers/mounts.

I'll be installing one on my 260DA this spring. I believe your locker hatch door is set up differently than mine. Take some pictures and post them for some better advice.

I installed a Lewmar V700 on my 06 260DA last spring. The first thing I had to do since it was a fresh install was to break out another thousand to have the hole in the bow patched as the hole was off of where I needed it. It really did cost me a grand. I then had to drill half of that patch job back out for the windless.
I also had to pull a couple of #6awg wires back to the batteries, boy was that ever fun. I also pulled 4 #18awg to the solenoid for a wired remote, that I made from a Radio Shack project box and switched for about ten bucks or so.
It ended up costing me about $2000.00 because I bought the rode for it also, but it was money well spent.
