Hi,
I was having trouble with my winch and decided to buy a new pawl, "winch finger".
I couldn't find one, evidently they are no longer made.
So I made one in Autocad and had it printed by Shapeways which is something I was doing anyway.
I teach computer graphics and modeling.
So if anybody needs one there here....

The only options were stainless steel or plastic, so I had one made out of plastic. I think SS is too expensive.
perhaps in the future they will add aluminum. I did a plastic piece and am using it.
I'm probably going to epoxy a ware surface and add a grommet but it works as for the end of this season.
