If you feel the need I can remove the link but the reason it was posted is to show what can go wrong if you dont follow established procedures.blood and guts, chopmeat, shock and awe,call it what you want. It shows exactly what happens if you make a mistake.

hi speed sand bar grounding that resulted in a broken neck, why?
no charts of the area.

I'm tell'n ya Woodyman, I just don't see your point. Read closely and you will see my comment takes neither side. Seeing a lighthouse on a foggy night has little to do with bodies turned into hamburger. Stupid people sink ships that do not yield to the light house so in this respect they would be correct.

I've noticed a trend where people who can't deal with reality (liberals) want somebody to come in (government/moderators) and make the "offending" party change their behavior rather than dealing with the issue themselves.

Anybody else notice this trend?

OMG!
When you think about the number of flights there are daily in the US and how many people are working on the ground it is amazing more workers are not injured/killed.
