Why are Sea Ray owners snobs

I feel lucky to see other boats - especially searays - I'm not looking for social interaction on the water - I wave most of the time cause I'm just a friendly nice guy - that basically hates people - there are dinks & losers in every type of people - Now people I like & know I honk the horn - like the old days cruising main street :grin:

Makes more sense when it is spelled correctly

We're not snobs, we're just better than everyone else!:smt043

:smt024snobe you say why yes I am,if you did not fly the colors and pipe boarding call and salute the commander your a obamanation to marines world over:smt021

Well when we arrived at the launch ramp last weekend the line was quite lengthy. I, of course, went straight to the front of the line.
I must say those "little people" can get rather pissy at times...........

:lol::smt043:lol:
You made my day.
:lol::smt043:lol:

An observation: When I take out my 18' 1990 Wahoo, almost everybody waves, even blow-boats. When I'm on the bridge of my cruiser, half the little boats won't even look, much less wave. My wife thinks it's some kind of reverse snobbery.

I have also noticed that it's harder to see somebody inside the shadow of a large enclosure--that could be part of it.

Bayliners never wave. Don't know what's up with that.

I can not wait to experience and bath in the snobbery that are SR owners on the water!:thumbsup:

For now, I just have to turn the sprinkler on (to simulate water coming from waves), send the admiral to the bow (my bow babe, but don't tell that) and fantasize about being on the water.................:smt009

I only wave to people on shore..:grin:

i'm not a snob. i only own a sea ray so people on this post will talk to me...i can't belong to any club that would have me as a member.

On the other hand, Groucho Marx once wrote "PLEASE ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION. I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT PEOPLE LIKE ME AS A MEMBER."

That was SO funny!

Sorry to be wordy, and no offense to electronic shorthanders, but an emoticon just did not seem to do it justice.

waynesworld, i'll make you a deal. if you wave to me (if i'm ever 10 states away with my boat), i'll get up on the bow and start cabbage patching (you know, that stupid dance).

then yiou can start a tread "why are sea ray owners such freaks?":grin:

i'd wave now, but this is the closest emoticon i can find:smt038

I don't mind if anyone thinks I'm a snob when I'm on the river...Saves me beers in the cooler.

I will say this yes there are plenty of snobs out on the water with all different makes of boats. But by far there are more none snobs out there to talk to and raft up together.

I wave to everyone - I really don't think about what they're riding in. I even wave at snailbloats. They usually just glare back. They are the ones with a serious attitude problem.
