Why are Sea Ray owners snobs

I was on my friends Four Winns when we went by a row of 8 Sea Rays. I waved and not one boat waved back. :smt021. Later that day we had my Sea Ray and went by the same row of boats i waved again and all of them waved back. Whats up with that ??. I wave to everyone no matter what brand of boat they have. :smt001.... PS i had on my Wayne's World tee shirt and hat so they must of remembered me.

I refuse to wave at other boats, too. J/K :smt001

Every group is going to have it's bad apples, you know? Next time, go set-up anchor right next to them. If you really want to piss them off, find some people with old Bayliner's and bring them along with you.

It is like that with all people...some are self centered, some are not...I have learned to spend my time with the positive, friendly types.

I knew what is was like to be a non Sea Ray owner...so I feel bad for the rest of the little guys and I waive to them all..lol. Even the poor Bayliner Guy deserves a waive...he's still a boater

LMAO!!!!

...............because other boat owners are dirty.

seriously, I don't care what you own as long as you are floating, enjoying your time and family, and doing it safely, I think that's great.

Carry on......

We often find that folks will not return the wave when were in our Cruiser but will wave when we're in the bowrider.

There are strange folks on both sides.

That's not the question. The real question is why do snobs always buy Sea Rays? : )

Kind of like being at a Cubs game and tossing the opponents home run ball back!

I have run into some a$$es in my jet boat and when they get real bad, I slowly go by as they are cussing me out, slowly trim up my engine as their eyes are looking at me as if to say "what the *edited* is he doing? I point the nozzle their way and give the throttle a good push. It is amazing how much water an Evinrude 250 can pump out.

Tends to "cool" them down a bit.

Ditto

Now I have to be a snob? Who says?

Sounds to me like so much conjecture, just what the world needs more of, hell you want conjecture, look at the current gov'mint representatives.

Wayne, you're from NY what did you expect. It has more to do with where you are from than what everyone drives.

Because you buzzed them on plane, leaving a wake of destruction?
Because you had no pants on?
Because your antenna was tilted back?
Because you were emptying your holding tank as you passed by?
Because they were recovering a body?
Because they were cardboard cutouts, not real humans?

We stick together. Although I do wave to most everyone, except those that pass too close to me! Sea Rays almost always have the best ladies aboard though.

On Allatoona they think you are "uppity folks" in your nice cruiser!

We get a lot of waves and my kids wave back all the time. We have pretty nice people on the lake here overall, although I am not too fond of the guys running wide open in the Fountains and the Scaarabs through some of the narrow channels!:smt013:smt021

My seven year old and her friends are the designated "wavers". I don't think they know the difference...unless Hannah Montana or iCarly already told them.

I've always found that if they don't respond to a friendly wave, that I usually get a very quick reply to the one finger salute!

Try that next time and let me know how you make out. LOL!!

Must be youse guys. Even the puffboters were waving yesterday.

....and not one middle finger salute.

Going under the CBBT yesterday near Fishermans Island some fishing boats didnt wave as I waved to them. So i flipped open the exhaust and put the hammer down. :smt001

I wave to everyone. We are all boaters. Doesnt take much effort...

I appear to have run out of grey poupon.

Haha... If you get this, YOU ARE GETTING OLD.

I was on the hook at Fairlee Creek Friday afternoon when a Voyager 56 decided to drop his hook right behind us. He was blocking a good chunk of the entrance as well as our view of the beach / tiki bar area where the kids were swimming. One of the guests comment about how rude that was. I told them that we needed a volunteer to swim over and ask if we could borrow his Grey Poupon. Well, I was greeted with 4 blank stares and 2 laughing faces. The 30+ crowd got it, the others didn't.

As a side note, I went into the cabin and noticed that OUR Grey Poupon bottle was full. Whew! What a relief THAT was...
