Who else had a worthless season in 2013?

25 hours this season, record flooding in our area, de winterized early April and couldn't get to our boat until late June. So we went out and used the generator a decent amount. We made the most of the time on the boat and made the most of the time not on the boat.

All in all a decent season, 36 hrs, compared to an avg of 56. So, a heck of a summer, and saved 2K in fuel :)

We just bought our 320 in October, but this summer we put 120 hours on our 2003 Grady White 282. Every chance we get we're out on the open water burning gas.

I haven't checked hrs, maybe 30-40. Not a good summer for us either. It didn't start till near the end of June and we pulled out end of Sept. Went to the boat most weekends but it often didn't leave the dock because of weather. The water was chilly, I only went in a couple times. We did get in a couple nice trips though, 4th of July week was great except for getting beat up coming back from Bayfield, WI. Won some boat dollars at the Casino over there and paid for the whole week long trip. We wanted to spend some time on Isle Royale this summer but the winds were always an issue, could get there but maybe not back on time...grandma needs to get back when she says, she's still workin' and committed to 4 more years. Man I hope age doesn't bite us in the butt and ruin our boat plans.

I didnt even put her in the water, the maintenance work I had planned didnt pan out on schedule so one week led to another then decided to not drop her in. I am doing all the work now this way April she goes right in .. Hope work schedule isnt as bad next season

Had what I would call an average season, started going out in April, had a great 4th of July 4 day weekend, and a 10day trip to several favorite spots on the bay in early Aug. Filled in the rest of the season with day trips and fishing runs. 76 hrs. on the Hobbs meter

Terrible season for me. A lot of stuff came up that prevented us from going out, plus we had hardly any summer here. The 4th of July was rain and 68 degrees for a high. We maybe got to make 5-6 trips to the lake, tops. And to top it all off, at the end I started getting a leak into the bilge from the transom area, had it checked out and advised it was from a rotting transom. Small leak right now but very concerning. I had it winterized and will contemplate what to do in the off season.

I got you all beat... I have about 0.5 hours this year. Enough to get to the lift, bottom done, and back to the slip.

I'm sure the work you are doing will make it worthwhile to become a non-boater for a while?

We were just grumbling about having put only 90 hours on the meter this year, and that doesn't include all the time sitting at anchor, overnighting, and entertaining at the dock. After reading this thread I guess we should be grateful for what we had even though an average year is more like 250 hours. It's still sort of boating weather out here. Has only frozen twice overnight and the day time highs are still around 6 - 10 C or 42 - 50 F. We can't be swimmin' or wakeboarding but we're still out there, drinking hot rum toddies and coffee instead of margaritas an' Bud.
