Its getting to that time again and am beginning prep work. For those of you who shrinkwrap who do you use? I checked Pleasure Cove marina indoor climate controlled storage and it was $80/foot. So I think I will be shrinkwrapping....

if you are looking for out of water storage my marinia in Edgewater MD does alot of that over the winter and will shrink wrap, full service and etc.

Double check the weight of your boat with them - they forklift only.

Tcason - Thanks for the ref to Londowntowne. Jim, I did get the lift and will just keep it on my lift during winter..... I would move it if indoor storage somewhere was attractive....

Jim Dean of Dean's Yacht Services has done me in-water for a number of years and I've always been satisfied. Here's his contact info:

"
Schedule all services by calling
410-626-1220, reply to this constant contact message or email Jim Dean directly at jim@deansyachtservices.com. "

I believe he usually offers a discount for early scheduling.

I am considering using Santos Reyes. I used him for detailing earlier this season. Met him in Herrington South when he was there working on a few boats. Havent had time to get a quote from him yet on the shrink wrap, but he mentioned doing specials if you shrink wrap and sign up for a detail in the spring.

OK Thanks for the info.. I just reached out to Deans Yacht Services that Al referenced. I'll let you know their prices when I hear...

The other one I called was 1st Class Mobile Marine, who my neighbor used last year for on-lift wrapping and they did a really nice job. Mike is the guy's name and 410-320-2291 is the number. I got a voicemail from him quoting 22.50/ft for on lift including everything (labor, plastic, damp rid, strapping, any braces required etc). That was for my 30'.

Trying to find my bill for winterization last year because the per foot charge was for labor. Cant remember how much additional the plastic was.

We can do it for you, and any of you guys in the Annapolis area. We can winterized your boats too. Here are our rates http://www.boemarine.com/service/

I don't have rates posted for bigger inboard boats on the site, but can email you a form.

Thanks Jim,

I think JimfromMD and myself are trying to coordinate a time so you can do ours together.... But I need a quote from you first..
