Where to get a IAC for 8.1 Mercruiser?

I’m looking it up on YouTube right now. Seems I should replace all of it just to be certain

It's an ignored item. People tend to let them get crapped out, then start having idle problems, then replace the IAC to only find they still have an idle problem.

Mine get replaced annually.

It's located inside the flame arrestor, and it's simple to change.

I copied that pic from a google search, so yes ignore the A and B. And one in each flame arrestor.

It just slips in the slot. I use a forcep to remove my old one, or you could use a needle nose.

Mine are pretty crudded up after 1 year.

Thank you so much gonna order one. Port motor will intermittently stall at idle

FWIW these are easily found at the local auto parts stores such as O'Reilly's, Auto Zone, Advance Auto, NAPA, etc.

The mufflers are something like $2 and can be picked up locally.

I have 7.4 horizons. Do you need to pull the throttle body assy to change the IAC? If so is it a big deal? Thanks
