The canvas on Saint Max is held to the top of the windshield with (for lack of better words) a rubber "T" that inserts into a channel. I am getting new canvas made and can't locate the manufacturer. I have never seen this setup before, nor has my canvas man and he has been building all types of canvas enclosures for over 40 years. I am stumped as to where to start.

He wants to use snaps, however I am clueless as to how one would hold snaps in the channel. Plus, if I use snaps, I want them to be able to slide left and right a bit to account for shrinkage.

HELP!!!!

TIA

Would call Great Lakes and ask them if you buy some, or find out where they get it...

THANK YOU!!!!

I just got off the phone with Great Lakes Boat Top Company. They knew exactly what I was talking about.

The item is called rubber "Extrusion". For anyone interested, it comes in 84" lengths and costs about $8.00 per length plus shipping.

There is Bushing that goes into the channel, then the snap screws into that bushing and tightens as its screwed in.....
