Anyone now where my stereo amp is located on my 206 48DA?

Not sure how much help this is (since you have a 48DA), but on my 2005 320DA, the amp is located under the seat of the sofa in the salon. You have to pull the seat all the way out, then remove the screws underneath that attach it to the sliding track. Mine's equipped with amps and cross-overs in that space; just had to replace the amp a few weeks ago, in fact.

I believe Joe (Havana Shamrock) said his was under the salon sofa too on his 36 Sedan Bridge.

Andy, on my 420 it's located behind the backrest on the salon sofa , you pull the seat out and push up on the backrest to expose it. Steve

Andy, not to sound like a smart a$$ here, but I believe the amps are going to be located not very far from the head unit. Visualize about a 6 foot run of rca (red & white) cables, and start unscrewing some panels close to the end of that 6 foot end.
If you can, open up the panel where your head unit is mounted and have a look around and trace the wiring back to the amps.

My amp is located in the helm console near the subwoofer in the helm seat. Not sure if the amp was replaced by a prior owner and relocated at that time from the "stock" location.

Andy - on my 2005 48 it was under the salon sofa seat, the one most aft. It was contained in a black wooden box.

Jason
