What's this? A 650 Fly possibly? A spotting of an elusive vessel!

Do a google "image" search on "1996 Azimut."

Hey, it's the wave of the future. Can't fight it!

At Solomon's Island MD this evening after running from Coinjock NC. Prime rib leftovers the next day are the best!.....yes the 650 has the range and the muscle to make such a journey as my passenger will attest to . Will be heading to Marinemax in Baltimore tomorrow morning for an event they have planned Saturday evening.

Are you in the area? Please bump me on the radio if we pass or find me on the dock ! Two of us were introducing ourselves at a draw bridge today. He was on one side and me on the other. Bridge tender probably thought we were crazy…I thought it was cool as all get-out!

The marine max guys in Wrightsville put on a great event. Everyone there seemed to be having a very good time. Plenty of food and drinks and they worked hard to show everyone around the 650 without making it crowded. Rusty, of course, was everywhere helping everybody. But Geez - Seems I couldn't get my big rear end out the way fast enough in half of the pictures they posted. Sorry to block the view of the paying customers Captain!

D'oh! Saw this too late. Hope the storm last night wasn't too bad over there.

Wow, that's a nice run Rusty! Must be nice to have the Sea Ray corporate Amex to go along with that range and muscle. What's the NMPG on that puppy? I know, I know, if you have to ask you can't afford it, but I am curious.

Saw this guy on our fuel dock yesterday... A very impressive boat design:

those shorts though, not so much.

If you are around this boat when it docks, make sure you wear some head gear... They'll throw you a 3/4" dock line with a monkey fist on one end from 200 feet and knock you in the head.

Gary,
Your record would suggest that when you are around ANY boat, you should wear head gear. In fact, scratch that, you should just wear head gear. Period.
Great pic though, seeing you and Rusty on that swim platform gives some nice perspective to just how big that puppy is. And I like that that platform is not too far off the water like they can be at times. Although I see that dock line positioned right at your ankles is a nice trip hazard. :)

You know you've got some pull when they bring the boat to you. Bets on how long before he takes a header down those bridge steps?
