Me...a triple decker club sandwich platter from the diner.

Grilled chicken with bacon, let, tomato on toasted white. Fries, cole slaw, pickle and med. coke.

You?

Hmmm, that sounds kind of good, I went into the kitchen, and had a couple hot dogs, some hot apple cider and Cabot Hunter's Cheddar cheese.

Smoked Ham sandwich, wheat bread, bag o tater chips, some little carrots with some Ranch dressing to dip them in and an Apple.

Just finished eating at Waffle House (y'all don't have them up nawth) -- one scrambled egg and country ham. Now I'm getting ready to bite into a juicy Anjou pear.

You realize that this thread is gonna get all the "This is a boating forum" boys all fired up

Hmm.. I just returned from taking my wife lunch up at the school where she teaches...

I had some left over prime rib from the other night so I made some homemade beef noodle soup this morning. Started with a beef broth from the 3 ribs of the prime rib... about a cup each of diced celery and carrots. A half onion diced... about 4 cloves of garlic diced... grilled the veggies in a little olive oil and then tossed them in the broth. Put in a large can of diced tomatoes... grilled about a cup of mushrooms in a little olive oil... tossed those in... cut up the leftover prime rib (about 2 cups) and added that. Let it cook for about an hour then boiled some homemade egg noodles separately and rinsed and added those... oh yeah... my secret mix of spice was added.

Then I made some killer grilled Smithfield ham and swiss sandwiches on a homemade toasted bread and threw that in the broiler for about 3-4 minutes... topped it with some fresh tomatoes and lettuce and a little ranch dressing...

Had warmed up 2 bricks wrapped in foil in the oven at 300 degrees (keeps stuff warm) and packed them and everything else in a bag and had lunch in her classroom... took a little freshly grated parmisian cheese for a soup topping.

She was happy... Now I have to work here in my office the rest of the day.... or take a nap.

Suddenly, my diner meal looks like crap.

Somebody better keep an ey on Gary, with a meal like that and already talking about a nap he will be snoring shortly.:smt015

I came back from a Thai restaurant... So I'm not really sure what I ate... but it was good!

Do you wear your little apron and Tiara when you are cooking up a storm?
