What were they thinking?

I came across this dash on another manufacturer. I wouldn't be able to use this boat with that "happy face" looking at me all day long. :smt001 Do you think they did that on purpose? Not meaning to offend anyone with this particular model, but to me they really screwed up an otherwise nice looking boat.

GOTCHA ... that's a Monterey dash. The 24 and 26 footer have this one. We looked at them before we got our FourWinns and were very disappointed in the build quality. That boat still had untreated plywood for seat bases :wow:

Yes sir you are 100% correct. A Monterey 270.

Actually I think you are are right. With those raised "lips" around the bottom gauges it does look like a frog....maybe our old "Froggie" from SRO will find this dash attractive :grin:
