Before joining this forum we knew Zilch, Nada, about boating or our boat itself...The inner and out working of it etc....Nothing.....:smt009
Except that we wanted to learn and grow.....

Now after over 15 months and 2500 posts we learned about boating 2O% of what we should know, we will never know 100%:smt009....Don't think anyone really does 99% instead.
So i figure in the months, years, to come from now Feb 2011, we will have learned enough to be smarter and more educated boaters, i read most every techie post here and learned something from each one, hopefully one day ill be able to give someone techie advice as well as my personal cosmetic advice as i've been doing here...

The reason we are writing this is because Pat n I are glad we are here...

Thanks for having us

So you can teach a old dog new tricks after all. . :smt043

All I am going to do is echo what billnpat have said. Without this forum, my return to boating would have been a much more difficult and more expensive road. I thank everyone for the love, tolerance and expertise here at CSR.

:smt038

Now, if I can offer you some advise ...

NEVER try to move a dock cleat with your knee. :smt018 The cleat wins every time.

Shine on!

Bill are we having a early morning adult beverage?? Or is the weather getting to you? (j/k) I agree totally!

HA,HA, NO JUST APPRECIATIVE....

I was introduced to boating by my father as a 10 year old. He sold that boat when I was 18. He left boating alone for the next 13 years. He taught me a lot then and to be honest CSR was more of a refresher coarse in the beginning. Then turned into tauching me about new things and more than just lake boating. Also on the tech side. Engines drives, gas and deisels. Now 33 and after many cars built and trucks and tractor trailers repaired, I am able to use non boating skills in my new project and chase a dream of mine since dad sold the original JITTS (86 Arrow Glass 165). Also not to mention the motivation I get from like minded people doiong the same as me. Even you rich guys with the 58 footers. Keep giving me reason to reach for the sky and bust ass.
Thanks...seriously
Steve

Great to find a site with a bunch of butt heads like me. Share ideas, cuss at each other and lie our a$$ off about life.
It's all good.

I had no idea how many great ideas there were for getting a pig into a boat.

Bill, Totally agree ... What I am most thankful for is the wonderful people I have met on this forum... The people both local and on the all over the world. I am looking forward to enjoying our boats the summer, and hopefully not spend an arm and leg this year on maintenance, and fixing my mistakes...

Heres is a pic of some of CSR friends:
