I left my job as an IT exec for a large computer company last winter. After 15 years of unrelenting fast pace and high pressure, I needed a break, and was fortunate to be in a position to take one.

I've been "evaluating retirement" for the last 9 months. I think it looks fantastic. But not quite yet...

So if you know anyone looking for an IT exec - PM me. I'm now on the market.

Provide jobs, health insurance, 401K, vacation time, sick time, etc. for people as I work longer, harder and take less money home!
 
The government shares my wealth with the “less fortunate” as I am a technical support specialist for an international heavy equipment company.
 
I never responded to the original thread but would have said senior project manager for IBM. After 17 years I left in May to focus full time at the shop my wife and I bought 2 years ago. It's been fantastic to not deal with corporate any longer!

i tried working nights with accordion repair,and my day job was collecting zink--neighter was the hula hoop syndrome--so i settled back , and took up autobody and paint-the paint ,and bodywork took me in all kinds of different directions for the next 45 yrs. i would not trade it for anything--i love doing what i do --i make your lookgood look better !!:thumbsup:

Financial Advisor for about 4 1/2 more months then retiring and will become a more avid boater....if that's possible.
