Especially with the current events unfolding - hiding what's coming out about the 3 plus years of the Russia Hoax. Obamagate. None of my local stations are reporting on what's currently taking place, the biggest political scandal of our lifetime. Yet they 'were' reporting daily on Russia and Trump. Now it seems, this week actually, the MSM is amping up covid and nothing but 'crickets' on the Russia scandal.

The only way the MSM will cover anything is if Barr and Durham actually indict some of the these douchebags!
And of course then the MSM will be screaming that Barr and Durham are just Trumps puppets. It will never end.

Maybe Biden will call Trump a 'Lying Dog Faced Pony Soldier', when asked about his past China dealings....

True. But there is the likely hood of 100,000’s extra deaths, many healthy individuals in all age groups are succumbing to this disease. You are willing to take the chance yourself but would you sacrifice your kids and grandkids. The major problem is so many world leaders ignored the inevitable if we didn’t prepare. Just my two cents worth

You can’t prepare for a virus like this. It has the worst characteristics one can think of: highly contagious, long incubation period, asymptotic spread. All you can do is react to the pitches it throws at you.
 
I just read an article (yes, another one about COVID.) There was an interesting quote that I found very profound.

"The risks we take are based on what we value most"

So as we come out of this, think about what you value most in life and how you rank those things. And think about others in our communities and what is on their list. That self-reflection compass "should" make all of us do the right thing at the right time.
 
Just to drop a note here. We were down to my last bit of funds and with business starting to trickle back we were having nervous optimism. It will take me three months to catch back up.

After waiting two and a half months and making one pissed off call last Monday. Suddenly my SBA loan was approved. We can now start getting the jobs done and moving forward.

Thank you all very much for your support during this very difficult time.
 
dwna, here's my wish that your business recovers quickly enough and is robust enough that you will make it through and come of this on the other side with a sigh of relief and a smile.

Mike - This chart means nothing other than a general increase for this current period. What is it or you trying to communicate? A political point? A decision basis point? Or, simply data whatever it is?
Some questions as I'm sure you know the source of the data -
  • What is the relationship between the shown increase and rate of testing if any?
  • Where in the state is the increase concentrated? Miami and FTL are still in Phase 2.
  • The testing technology has improved; what increase is attributed to the more accurate test methodology?
  • Is this a fallout of loosening up the lockdown?
The bottom line is, these types of charts are media barking points that have little or no data to support a basis for the reasoning (not that I'm challenging the increase).

Just data. And you're right ...good news is that testing is increasing. My main point is that there's no correlation between sunlight and diminishing effects of the virus. Florida being the sunshine state and all.

Mostly, it was just me being a wise ass. ;-)

Thank you, it took a bit to catch the bills up but those folks are happy. I needed to replace a couple of pieces of equipment but the fear of a resurgence has me just doing repairs. Folks are slow to pay but they are paying.

We are now trying to buy only US made products. It's not as easy as it sounds.

I'd still like to thank everyone here for their support. It helped with the stress.
 
There is direct correlation between sunlight and temperatures and viruses. This is well known. See flu season if you’re uninformed.

The fallacy in that graph and with all the reports of “new” cases is that they’re newly infected people.

No test determines when you caught the virus. So the more they test the more positive results but they’re not new infections.

More fake news to fill the narrative. :cool:
