What is Santa bringing you this year?

I don’t know what I’ll get…but I know what I asked for… Boating magazine's Miss Sea Ray to adorn my bow!

Auto-pilot, underwater lights, cockpit tv, bow-thruster are all on my letter to Santa, but we'll see what actually comes through. I'm thinking cockpit TV at the least!

I wish I was Wayne World's (lucky sperm) to have parents pay for my slip.......My parents will probably give me sav ointment again this year!

I want a new trash can!

Where will you keep your boat?
Wingin' it, we'll keep the boat here in its slip when we head south. A couple of years ago we bought a 19' bowrider that we plan to tow down there in the spring. We'll keep it in the garage and use it at Lake Pleasant.

The Reinell had not been used for many years, had always been covered and stored in a garage. The older couple we bought it from were the original owners and used it for family boating fun as the kids grew up. It's a 1989 that we picked up for $2K. These pics were taken right after we brought it home.

Kreole,
From the picture it looks like you mounted it outside the surround rather than under in like Sfergson did with his 340. I have a similar setup in my 320 and am curious how you did yours. New mounting bracket? Where did you run the power cord?

Bob, I looked for Scott's install pictures but couldn't find them, anyway, I never had a TV in that spot before.

I bought a low-profile tv mount bracket thingie and measured with the tv on the bracket about 22 times to make sure I would be able to clear the electrical panel door. I snaked some wires around the decorative padding and along the back of the stair post to run an extension cord down to that little cabinet that has a 120V outlet. I tapped into the existing cable wire that's running to that little flip down p.o.s. tv in the mid cabin and put a splitter on that feed so that I could feed my new tv. I just drilled a small hole just forward of the speaker in that headliner.

I also tapped into the aft dvd player so I'll be able to listen to the movies / concerts through the house sound system as well.

I'll post some more pictures when I get back out to the boat in the next day or so.

Thanks Kreole,
The reason I asked is I was pretty sure if you had the surround like Scott and I do there was no way you could fit a 32" LCD TV in there. The surround presents challeges that you did not have to deal with. Like you, I have never used the flip down TV in the aft cabin.

New home theater to go with the 50 inch plasma.

I think that surround cushion for the tv came with the 05' and newer models.

First pic is the A/V Switch Box to turn on the House system with the appropriate device.

2nd Pic is the mp3 port I installed in the electrical panel atop the radio, labeled "Audio".

3rd Pic is the mp3 port I installed in the cockpit on the starboard wall right above the cup holder labeled, "Audio 2".

4th Pic is the TV. I haven't found the clips yet to hide the white extension cord and I'm also looking for some white flex loom to hide the wires to the bottom right of the TV
