no, the pump does not come on when i manually cycle the float switch

That’s not a good sign. Try getting a test light or multimeter on the input lines to the pump & switch. Regardless of EIM setting there should be 24/7 power on the feed. First test the float switch and if that works properly then test the motor.

Just went to the boat… looks like I may have been mistaken. Now the light is off and the float switch is melting! I removed the float switch and now I’m now able to turn the pump on and off with the switch on the pod. Looks like a new float and pump will be in order. I tested the wiring and it seems to be in order
