Sirius, XM, Terrestrial?

What genre of music?
alternative, classic rock, jazz, classical, movie soundtrack, speed metal...??

non-music?
sports talk, conservative talk, liberal talk, all news all the time, martha stewart...?

if non-music, got a favorite talk radio host?

Mostly jazz and blues with a little rock here and there.

Drove the Mark today, which doesn't have Sirius. Listened to Marcia Ball and Albert Collins CDs. Never listen to old-tyme FM radio. Lost the Navigator's am/fm antenna a few years ago. Don't miss either the antenna or those radio stations.

Best regards,
Frank

My job requires a lot of spans of 1 to 2 hrs of windshield time. I listen to AM radio a lot. Other than the local station personalities, I listen to Limbaugh, he can keep me awake while I drive. If I'd listen to music, I probably would crash from falling asleep.

If I listen to Molly Hatchet, Robert Cray, or BTO, I get stopped for speeding...

I commute over an hour each way to my office and spend a lot of time on the road during the day.

Commute into work....AM radio WFAN sports radio with Boomer and Carton

Mid Day (10am - 2pm) on the road.....FM radio 101.5 with Dennis and Judy

Commute home from work....AM radio 77 WNBC with Hannety

Here and there I'll throw on a local classic Rock FM station.

During the Christmas Holiday season....I shove in a cassette (yes I said cassette) of Bing Crosby , Dean Martin and Neil Diamnod Christmas carols.

Boy...am I old....

Sirus 22 First Wave (New Wave)
I am still stuck in the 80's.:smt100
My raft-up friends and I play a game where you have to guess the song and the artist and play for a dollar a song. I guess I did actually pay attention to something in high school as I do pretty good.

On the water - Various Jazz and Beach Rock blended and burned to CD's. (Too cheap to pay for sirus when I have 300 CD's loaded on my zune.) Yea, I used to belong to Columbia House.

On the road - Talk Radio.

Coast to Coast AM on the way to work. Man, there are some weird people up at night calling in--very entertaining.

Dave Ramsey and Rush during the day.

+1. i love first wave!. i am such a fountain of worthless musical minutia (with a specialization in 80s music). i actually applied to be a contestant on a short-lived VH1 show called "Rock-n-Roll Jeopardy." Jeff Probst (Survivor) was the host and probably producer. never got called but i would have easily whooped the dolts they had on that show.

"I'll take british invasion for 200 jeff."
"John, Paul, George and______"

cue the crickets...
