Did you get that motor back in service? I just finished my winterizing and cleanup/coverup routine. Are you winterized or still enjoying our unseasonably warm spell on the Chesapeake?

I don't think he got far in the armed forces...

"...Although he (Bob Bell, AKA Bozo) was certifiably blind in his right eye, he succeeded in passing the Marine Corps physical in 1941 by memorizing the eye charts. Less than a year later, however, he was given a medical discharge but decided to try again, only this time, with the Navy. With the help of a sympathetic Navy doctor, he was accepted and served in San Francisco and, later, the Philippines until 1946..."

OK..I'm really going off topic and showing my age now...in 1961, at the ripe old age of 5, my cousin and I were on the BOZO TV show...we sat in the first row and we had to run up to the cameras for the commercials....my cousin even got chosen to tast the nestles chocalate milk....now who remebers that......that was before the days of VCRs and the show was live....so I never got to see what we looked like....my mom sat in the "green" room and watched with the other moms...

back on topic...thanks to all the veterans...a special thanks to my dad who served in WWII 1943-1946...Phillipines arena...he passed last year....I still have his uniform....

Bozo is a fun memory.

Yes everything is fine. I am heading for the marina as soon as I log out. Terry will winterize the boat on 12/1 but I have some projects to work on over the winter.
