What Color SeaDek for my swim platform?

I installed the SeaDek Teak (mocha over black) on our transom platform and on the door step (useless door). I can tell you that it does not get hot, which is darker than the colors you are looking at purchasing.

Keep in mind that after about a season, it will fade a little. Ours has held up for 4 going on 5 years now. It's a great product.

Just a quick update: After pondering it for several more days, I finally ordered the middle color (mica). It looks like delivery can take up to 5 weeks, but I will post pics when I get it installed. Also, I sat the 3 samples shown plus the grey over black faux teak in the sun for of while. I don't have an IR thermometer, but going by my scientific back of the hand feel test, none of them really got all that hot. There was a noticeable temp difference from the lightest to the darkest colors, but even the darkest color wasn't all that hot. No where near as hot as the dark accent color on my vinyl seats. As someone said earlier, the darker colors are a bit warmer in the sun, but not enough to make it a factor in selecting a color. Thank.

I have mica on my boat and it attracts dirt like you wouldn't believe. The only way to keep it clean is on hands and knees with a stiff scrub brush and some cleaner like bleach white. I wish I would have gone with the grey camo since it wouldn't show dirt so much. Other than that I love it though.

A little late but where's the picture.

By the time I ordered and received the sea-dek last fall the weather had gotten pretty cool. I decided it would probably be best installed when it was warm, so I'm actually hoping to get it installed this weekend (nice timing on your part). I'll post pics when completed.

I too have the same 185 color scheme and have been wanting SeaDek, I just haven't pulled the trigger. Everytime I mention it, the Admiral says its an unnecessary purchase at this time :smt021. I planned on going with the storm gray with midnight black brushed Faux-Teak finish after looking at the samples I ordered

I just ordered mine to replace some existing 4 year old SeaDek & for my Swim Platform. I'm anxious for it to get here - they said 15 to 20 days. Puts me right on the bubble with my July 4th vacation.

Finally got the SeaDek installed. Here's the pics as promised.

That looks great. I like the solid color as well.
