I need to replace the digital thermostat. Does anyone know what OEM brand they used? Is there another aftermarket alternative?

Thanks!

from looking at Ethan's Tanks system over the last week I found the manufacturer name (cruisair) in 2 places, on the control unit box which was mounted near the actual A/C unit and also on the thermostat itself. Hope that helps.

Does it look like this? Before you replace it, you can try doing a factory reset. Donwload the manual to see how to do that and other usefull info. If that does not work there is a vendor who rebuilds them. I don't remember who it is but I'm sure someone will chime in and say "do a search" :smt021 (hate that saying)

Try the reset first. Every second spring it seems that the AC on mine is dead and I have to reset the thermostat and then all is good for another year or so.

This is the one I have. I tried to reset mine and it did not work. I found out it is very common for these controller units to fail. I ended up finding a new aftermarket controller on eBay.
