What apps do you like for android?

The list is numerous, but some key ones for me, in no particular order, are:

Tapatalk Blue
EarthNC
NutiCharts
MarineTraffic
GPS Essentials
Marine Weather
WifiWidget
JuiceDefender
Flashlight
FoxFi - must have...
Synker

Wait.... You mean they can do more than just play Angry Birds?:smt043

I downloaded the Navionics S today... looking forward to playing with it next week.

I actually just installed Navionics on my old (unactive) Droid as well... seems to work with no problems (only need to use GPS and not data). This way if it flies outta the boat, I haven't lost my current Droid (R2D2)

Depends on what you want to do....

If you want to kill some time...

Spaghetti Marshmallows is a fun one

I like google Maps and it is cool to star places and then they show up on the PC

Foxfi Is a must have wow I don't know how I lived with out it

X Construction is a tough brain teaser

Apparatus is another challenging one!

a flash light app is always handy

A lot of great apps.

Sorry, Most of mine are games...

Well I guess I am going to be busy now. Just loaded more apps on my phone, Jason the foxfi hit the mark. That is great so that I can use my laptop on the boat once my wife's (her business, me slave) gets off the ground!

James, enjoy Foxfi. Chuck W suggested it first along with a bunch of others... all good stuff here!

My every day ones are:
*Tesla led (flashlight)
*Screen filter (dims your screen-doesnt blind my wife at night)
*TuneIn radio
*Advanced task killer
*Data enabler widgit (allows you to turn data on/off so your not always
connected wasting battery
*Advanced clock widgit (nice clock, weather, lots more info)
*Old Time Radio

Pandora Radio
Quick Settings - allows quick access to commonly used settings
Weather Bug
My Tracks - GPS recording of your adventures
QuickPic - replaces the stock Android photo gallery
ColorNote
Moon 3D
App2SD - moves Apps to SD card quickly and easily
Scanner Radio - Use to monitor local EMS
Speed Test - to check the speed of internet connection
Winamp - music player

Cool, I am going to spend some time Monday night pulling some more down. It was time for a tune up on the boat today, too bad they do not have an app for that. The rotors on both engines were rusted in. It would have been nice to have an app that shoots a laser beam to cut the plastic.

What is Foxfi guys? Is this something that is available to the iPhone too?

It lets you use your mobile as an internet hot spot. I have unlimited data on my phone so if I am at the lake and need to use the computer you turn on the Foxfi and you have internet at your finger tips... It is so convenient and there is not extra charge through Verizon. If you use the Verizon hot spot they charge you some ridiculous charges and a different data plan! Not sure on the apple side?

That is great! I would definitely like that too!! I am planning on going with the iPhone 4s so I hope that I can get that too.

Edit: I just checked the app store and Foxfi is not available, nor did they seem to offer any wifi hot spot creator apps. F*#%*n Apple!!!!! :smt013

Yep sorry Todd no app to do that in the iPhone apple app store. You have to sign up with the carrier with AT&T they charge an extra $15 per month and cap data & 5G then extra charge over 5.

Not sure about Verizon.

Used to be able to jailbreak and use an app called MyWi to do this. But since iOS 5 AT&T has been finding and changing plans on folks that do this.

Crap! Thanks Tom. I was all set to go get an iPhone. Now I have to rethink it AGAIN!!!!

Verizon has great deals on the Razor right now. I may go check that out instead.
