You know...if you back in your boat at the ramp, you don't need a snorkel.
Could those of you with 1997-2000 sports boats post a picture of your trailer without the boat on it? I am trying to get some ideas for my bunk and winch set up and seeing some pictures of the trailer without the boat would be very helpful.
I have a 1997 230BR and am trying to get things set up prior to driving up to the cottage and picking up my new to me boat.
Cheers,
Mike
I've got a 1998 210BR with factory trailer that I could take a picture of next weekend if you're willing to wait. We'll likely hit the lake next Sunday.

My truck is a 2001, 2500HD with the 8.1L gas engine, Allison transmission, and 4:10 gears.how did the 2500 handle the boat?......we are thinking of upgrading to a 30' or so cruiser sometime....i have a 2007 2500HD Silverado with 6.0 gas Vortec....it has 3:73 gears, 6 speed 6L90E HD tranny and other additional towing options.....i was wondering how it would handle a 30'er....probably only pull it a coiple times a year......
thanks...

Currently I tow about 2 miles to and from the lake twice a year... its great for that. I have towed the boat to the dealer (about 90 miles away) a few times... doable, but nerve racking. About 50 MPH was all I wanted. :smt100 A lot depends on the trailer... tongue weight, breaks, axles, etc.
