Went Boating 1-11-09

The weather was absolutely gorgeous yesterday with a high of 81 with westernly winds at 5 knots. The bay was absolutely smooth as a glass.

Here's a few pics.

When I came back, I met a fellow CSR (eddiemorales) at the boat ramp. I have to thank him for helping put more weight on the back of my truck as my rear wheels was getting slippery at the top of the ramp.

Yes, the pics was taken just departing from Black Point Marina. The group picture was at the sandbar at Elliott Key.

I have to say, the water has been very nice here in West Palm Beach too the past few weeks. The cool mornings (60's ) have not stopped us here.

It was amazing yesterday. I went in the bay at Stiltsville and had lunch at No Name. We had 3 dolphins chase fish under the boat for 1/2 hour while we were anchored. Perfect temp and flat water.

Love this pic. It almost looks like the boats floating on air! You should frame this one for your wall. Now I may have to consider trailering the boat down there one year. That water is awesome:thumbsup:

I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Lauderdale by the Sea, and Delray over a four year period in the late 90's without out a boat. I despise you already papogator! Just joking but I am jealous. I used to frequent Bootleggers and Shooters on the ICW in Ft Lauderdale on my buddies go-fasts and I thought I was in heaven. If the healthcare did not suck so bad in south Florida I would live there still.
