I have been lurking for years now and felt it was time to jump in. My wife and I work a lot and about 4 years ago she told me we were going to buy a boat to have good quality family time. I told her she was out of her mind but proceeded to buy a 2002 260 at her request ! She was right ! It has been the best thing we could have done to get away and spend time as a family and with friends. Then It happened this summer ! She told me we were going to buy a bigger boat. Well being the good husband I am we now also own a 2003 320 .So if anyone knows somone who knows someone that is looking for a 2002 260 Sundancer that has only been in fresh water and stored indoors and racked indoors during the summer please have them contact me. I am as OCD with my boat as I am with my work so the 260 is in exceptional condition ! Thanks for the help.

Bill,

Welcome aboard! Make sure you update your signature with your boat and engine information. It will help in answering any future questions you may have.

Our re-entry to the boating world was similar to yours. The Admiral also decided we would buy a boat to have quality family time. After having our 215WE for only two seasons, we are beginnning the search for the next one.

I will PM you my email address. Send me more information and pictures if you have them. I'm not making any promises, but you never know!

Good luck with the 320!

Congrats Bill and welcome. I bet it's gonna be a long winter for you too!
Try the Want Ad Digest...I looked a long time before I found my boat..not many nice boats for sale there either.
Where you keeping it?

Just placed the ad on Club Sea Ray.

Thanks for the advice.

Groucho, we have been at Bolton Landing Marina which is a wonderful family place in the heart of Bolton Landing and next to the beach. If you know of anyone interested in being there my boat posesses the rack it is stored on otherwise there is a long waiting list for racks that big.

The facilities are well cared for and include showers, picnic area with grills and a nice clubhouse with pool and ping pong table. Also include wireless for those of us who like to work when the family go to sleep.

So what is the problem? We did the same thing last year and move up to the 11 foot wide boat. Owned both and I :smt089 when I sold the 250 DA. We had owned it for 8 years and I told the next owner he BETTER take good care of it. We get first right of refusal when he sells it too!

We looked like a Sea Ray dealership with them BOTH parked in the front of the house! The neighbors thought we were nuts. I didn't want to sell the 250 until the next boat proved itself. That way we had an out should something go wrong! So we sold it in April after we had run both a bit and felt comfortable that the new boat was good and solid. We had to have some work done on the trailer, but now we're good for many years to come!

I know it well...
We are @ families home in the same cove as Depe Dene..
See you on the water.

Groucho,
I was going to take a dock for next year at Depe Dene but decided against it. We are waiting for one of the two outside docks at BLM to open up. We like to be further north and dine in Bolton Landing. My new boats name is Z's Refuge 2003 320 with black canvas. I am sure I will see you sometime in Shelving Rock, Log Bay or in the Red Rock area. I think I got the signature in but not sure so here goes.
