It may not be the pump....We are getting a weak water flow from our AC. Has anyone rebuilt one of these or just replace? New pump is $350 and the wet end kit is $110.

Don't want to waste the $$$ if the wet end rebuild won't work.
Any advise greatly appreciated.
Mike.
It may not be the pump....
Did you check the intake strainer and flush out the cooling line? When I bought my boat the previous owner (unknown to me) had sucked up some mud from sitting in a shallow slip at a marina and it partially blocked the system. The blockage was inside the a/c itself
I flushed it out with a garden hose (dockside water pressure) and a lot of junk came out.
Also check the coolant water hose connection to the a/c unit and make sure it hasn't kinked for some reason.
If all that is clear, I would test the pump by disconnecting the output side hose and let the pump discharge into a bucket while you time the GPM to see if it is in spec.
