Virginia Governor Race results?

An update on nj that illustrates my point on the RINO Jack #ss that should have won a major victory. A humble truck driver with no political connections or experience named Ed Durr (R) who spent less than 10k took the seat of uber rich and connected senate president Steve Sweeney (D) who for years called the shots in Trenton. This is the biggest story about the election in the nation but the drive bys are not even aware of it.
Here's the key point, multi millionare RIno Jack made it very clear that he was anti Trump and anti MAGA and he lost agianst unpopular czar Murphy while little ol' Ed Durr did the opposite and won big against someone on whom millions have been spent over the years to try and unseat with no success.
I cannot understand how the NJ republican party insiders are never able to see the obvious time after time.
I may need to change my name to Flalarry.
 
Did this topic get moved from the tiki bar and if so why? It is much less contraversal than most of the other topics there. We are talking news not party line view points.

Democratic New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney says thousands of "recently found" ballots supports his refusal to concede to a Republican challenger who ran a low-budget campaign.

"The results from Tuesday’s election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county," Sweeney said in an email to the Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday. "While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results."

The dead vote takes a bit longer to count.

Needs to go back to the way it was. Vote on voting day in person. If you can’t then request a mail in with a valid excuse. No more of this voting two months before Election Day either.
Of course now that the door has been cracked open, we’re never going back.

Actually in 2020 Michigan and several other states wanted to start counting them in the days leading to the election in expectation of large turnout (without disclosing the tally). Who successfully sued to block that??? You guessed it - Trump. Then the poor fella was so dismayed when they were counted overnight after the polls closed. Some one once said “you can’t have it both ways.”

I dont agree with counting ahead of time....you count on election day....if you cant handle it...then its in person.
You cant disagree voting in this country is a joke at best

They just wanted to put the cheats in place early. Since elections are constitutionally under the legislative branch, state funding for their execution must be equal throughout the state all areas should be completed at the same time.

Only idiots buy the line that Detroit is more populous so it takes longer…

So you’re saying Trump must’ve cheated in Detroit in 2020 since he actually got more votes there than he did in 2016?

Actually you just brought up one of the 16 bellwethers that have stood for decades. No President has ever lost when increasing their vote totals from their previous election…

Ok, so you’re not answering my question whether Trump cheated in Detroit when he got 5,000 more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, you’re deflecting. Got it.
