Virginia Governor Race results?

Well I'll be damned! Youngkin defeated McAuliff for now any way. I'll hold my breath for a day or so before my faith is restored in the American election system. Let the red wave begin and restore honesty and reason to governance in America.
Lets Go Brandon!!
Virginian here, GO RED!!!

The main political trend from Virginia is that: Parents voices matter. The Dem candidate said outright that they didn't and that the NEA (Teacher's Union for our Canadian friends) and dem led School Boards knew how to educate children better than parents.

NEA and the liberal schools boards having been pushing to teach that gender and Critical Race Theory are more important than math, language, science and history. The mentally ill progressives want to double down on the State re-educating children.

If the dems don't adjust on the "who is responsible for the children" you can expect three things to happen in 2022:

1) The dems will lose the House
2) The dems will lose the Senate
3) Trump will be warming up in the 2024 Bullpen

You would have to be an idiot (or die-hard Communist) to tell parents that the State should decide how their children are educated. Doubling down and labelling anyone who disagrees with the Progressive way as a Domestic Terrorist or a White Supremist seems like a sure way to lose.

Who knew the GOP would become the Party of Concerned Parents?

Trump brought the party to the folks. Normal people just fighting to survive. It’s the establishment, both Ds and Rs, that are the elites and think the folks don’t really matter. Hopefully it’s a trend.

Of course the commy bastards are doubling down. Anyone really believe these globalists care a flying fornication about what you, I or anyone else thinks?

Hell no. The Great Reset won’t wait for the sheep.

The Virginia governor elect won based upon a grass roots effort addressing the concerns of Virginians; no more, no less. That's it. He did not make the election a national event but rather he kept it home addressing the issues at home. Contrast that to the incumbent who sided up on his soapbox with some questionable choices from national politics and attempted to align with national politics. A loosing concept.
Now I believe the voting public were not only agreeing with the issues Yongkin tabled but their vote alludes weariness of the crap on the national level. And it is crap mostly from the Democrats / Progressives being parroted by the media; in fact overstated by the media. Listening to James Carvill this morning I found he gets it; gets all of it and is filleting his fellow democrats. A couple topics the voters want taken off the table and if not their votes will -
  • Racist - what is it with the democrats and progressive media calling everyone who doesn't precisely align with their political beliefs a racist? Now the new term "race baiting"; what is that anyway? America is over this false rhetoric and I think if you call someone a racist you better be able to back it up in a court of law. I know I'd be way up someone's ass if they called me a racist.... Hell, now the democrats are calling democrats racist. This alone will be an election looser.
  • Trumpism or Trumper - please define that? Is that to align a opponent with Trump and consequently discredit or attempt to slander? The dem's don't get it and the media doesn't get it that President Trump is out of the picture for most voters. Doing paltry and immature insinuations such as "Trumper" pisses off the voting public; it's a another looser for the democrats.
  • Defund the Police - This was a looser out of the box but the progressives picked it up from the fringe and ran with it. The media played it like a broken record. The media and dems are backing away from this; actually they are running away... But in 2022 it will be on the pedestal as a reminder by the republicans and they will capitalize...
  • Critical Race Theory - Another thing I have mediocre understanding but it doesn't belong in our classrooms in any shape, form, or name. I have quite a few friends that are primary school teachers and, in fact, they are mandated to seminars on the philosophy in preparation to roll it out in the schools. It's not going to stick in Florida; at least under the term CRT. I know for a fact that large corporations are mandating pretty extreme forms of the philosophy for senior management and are getting significant pushback; but they forge on with the rhetoric. Channel surfing the other night the progressive media is in serious backpaddle mode now proclaiming that "CRT" is not and never has been in our schools only the "real US history". The media is actually now trying to cast their CRT as a Conservative idea; pretty lame. Call it what you want, but it looks like a turd, smells like a turd, and tastes like a turd and America wants nothing to do with it.
  • COVID - Ya think America is over the government mandating public behavior? Our current president, his administration, and congress are going to take themselves down in 2022 over COVID and rightly so.
  • Federal Government size and power - America is over large government but the current administration doesn't get it or truly believes big government is the answer to our woes..... The dem's will rue the day on these big spending bills regardless if they pass of not.
  • Democrat witch hunts - They are still going after Trump; what is that crap that we are still paying for... Adam Schiff is completely eaten up over it and has lost any sense duty and responsibility; he needs to go. Then this "insurrection" on the nation's capital; the public sees through this as simply political posturing and again the voters will show them the road next year...

OMG @ttmott Tom, I could not agree with anything more. Very well thought out and stated.

I just want folks to know and this is a fact, CRT is already in the school systems. It may not be being taught yet but it is in the systems. Our local system has already hired leads for the program, staffing to teach the teachers, programs and needed teaching materials. So as the Dems in your areas boldface lie to you and say it’s not there keep this in mind. Don’t believe me, go ask a teacher

The republicans conceded before the election began when they put up dont know Jack about Jack. He had no platform and no agenda. Maybe in Mass you can get elected on a name, Kennedy, and maybe in Calif and NY you can elected with a D or a R after your name but the rest of the country looks at issues. Jack never stood for anything. Murphy mopped the floor with him in the first debate. In 2020 there were 8 million new gun owners, likely most not republicians...they already have theirs. Yet Jack #ss in the debate denounces the second amendment losing not just the republician base but the indepencants, conservative and moderate dems. Who did he think would turn out to vote for him, the far left? He was a lame uniparty candidate with no vision. That he came so close only reflects how unhappy voters are with Lord Murphy. He took the rest of the ticket down with him but they were happy to stand tall against MAGA like the RINOS they are.

So all the Jersiers can thank themselves for their high taxes. I don’t care to sympathize with any of the complaints about how Jersey has highest taxes and still going up.

If there was one issue, only one, that should have been enough, but idiots continue to vote out through their asses so they all deserve the government they elect b
