The power vent in the galley and in the head is not operating. I checked the schematic (wiring dia.) and this shows a 7.5a fuse in the power vent switch in the galley. The vent is powered from the DC control panel with a 15a breaker switch, and has 12v DC, which I checked. This then feeds the Galley Vent switch. Since the head is also connected to the galley switch thru the 7.5a fuse, I suspect the fuse is blown.

Anyone know how to access this fuse in the galley vent switch?

I finished changing the spark plugs, what a PITA that was. Had to remove one of the water hoses on the stb side to get to the middle plug....laying across the engine, not fun!!

After I finished with the plugs and cooled down, I decided to check the vent fuse. Had to take the control panel cover door off to allow the DC panel to fully open. Could not find the in-line fuse for the vent, so I removed the vent & galley light switch from the galley. I measued 12V DC to the switch. BTW I think the vent fuse is in the middle on the galley & vent switch, doesn't seem to be replaceable, not sure how this works, pop out maybe (anyone???)...but it is wired correctly in series to protect the circuit. Had to remove the freezer to get to the vent fan, had 12v to the fan. Removed the fan and the blades were frozen. I spun the blades a few times and hooked the fan back up and it works. I think the motor is almost done, and couldn't see anyway to get oil into the shaft...so I'll just run it every so often. We never use the vent fan and that's probably why the motor shaft stuck.

Anyway just wanted to follow up on this. Anyone know about the vent fuse type device in the center of the galley light and vent switch?? I am sure other boat have this arrangement.

I had the same issue with this vent. Exercising the fan blade by hand also corrected my problem. I sprayed some electrical lube on the fan bearing. Been OK for two seasons now. I just make sure I run it every couple of weeks.

Didn't see an easy way to disassemble the fan/motor without prying the fan balde off. If it stops again I'll try and take it apart.
