Well the vacflush vacuum pump started to take longer to buils up vacuum and it cycled at night signalling a impending problem. Proactively I replaced the duckbill valves and pump body orings (because I of course dropped one in the water). I reinstalled last evening in my 2002 310DA which is yet another job for a contortionist. Now it cycles once every 2 minutes. I tightened all hose clamps but due to the circumstances I assume something I did has aggrivated the situation. The bellows in the pump seems intact and a new one at West MArine is $93. The vacuum/micro switch to shut off the pump when vacuum is sufficient seems ok. The diaphram seats firmly retracted when the pump shuts off but starts to "loosen" as the seconds tick off indicating the system is really losing vacuum somewhere. Also the head holds water as the vacuum drops off. What kind of failures have you all experienced? Thanks!

If the bowl is holding water, then I would go back to the hoses and fittings to make sure there isn't a leak at the pump.

The problem was the duckbill valves. A word of caution: Don't dissassemble the pump itself. Dometic does a very poor job of printed support for the vacuum generator assembly. The duckbill valve are inline in the intake and exhaust fittings of the pump. Its an easy fix if you dont screw something else up while doing it. (4 valves required - $64/4 @ Marinemax $52/4 @ West Marine)

Do you have a part # for bowl seal?

Must be the month for head problems, mine is taking longer to build up as well. My dock neighbor went thru this last year and has an extra duckbill valve and says he will walk me thru replacing it. Note he did not say help me do it :))

Perfect! Are these hard to replace?

I shouldnt say it....
Ok, I might jinks myself but,
I have not (yet) had to replace it on mine.
I am told it easy.

I have done duckbills, pressure switch assembley and some hoses.

If duckbills dont work go for the pressure switch assembly.
The little bellows leak after awhile. There is a plastic disk inside that cracks. The new one is stainless steel inside.
Very easy to R+R and around $155.00 to buy.
