Upgrade time HELP

Yeah, confused on all that as well. Garmin isn't quite as expensive but still needs that purchase at the same time. And how much did we spend to only have to spend more, because we can't live without all of this data going every which direction? - I wonder sometimes if I shouldn't go to Boaters Anonymous to get this addiction fixed!

The garmin uses the same $1100 gateway, right?

I just ordered the basic nmea2000 gateway($400), and an rs150 GPS receiver. My last ‘non n2k’ Device is my transducer. I’m keeping that at least until I pull the boat next fall.

I’m thinking that I should’ve got the axiom pro. Even though it’s more expensive, it might’ve saved me money in the long run.

Same gateway and same UI for the one helm I believe (haven't seen the RM version) but I thought he said it cost ~$600? Not sure on that as I don't have SC or VV, just assisted on the install. He's not in my contacts or I would ask him. Sorry.

Ahhh, I get it now. The difference is one or two engines.

Couple questions
I bought the wrong transducer
I got a p319 which isn’t wired to the network
So will only work on screen that it’s plugged into id like to replace this with a transducer that goes to the network. Thinking a dst800 but after reading the go9 manual is says no paddle wheel speed sensors will work and I see a tiny paddle wheel in the dst800 pictures. Will it work ? What are people using ?
Second question does the halo+ wire to the network some how to have radar capability on both screens?
I’ve come a long way understanding way more now then when I first posted

Is there a factory alarm/siren to wire new screens to or should I get an aftermarket one ?
