Tube leaking.

Just make sure you are solving PVC issues with PVC stuff, and Hypalon issues with Hypalon stuff. That coming from a 3M yellow trim adhesive guy....... ;-)

Yep, PVC so it'll work. I just got done using 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive - great stuff!

Whats the verdict? Floating or sinking? Aint talking about a little water in it. If an inflatable dont leak a little water in, its not in the water.

Glue arrived yesterday. Stopped by to look at the A/C mess I'm dealing with, it's 95% inflated. My gut tells me I'll just patch it at the end of the season in my garage vs on the swim platform of the big boat. But all my projects are about done so we will see!

Took mine down the river to the Bay this morn, glue held fine. Happy.
When i repaired, you know how the wood transom fits in the rubber ‘ears’ that are part of the tubes. Well, I squirted sealant in there. Then drilled thru the rubber into the wood, inside and outside. Installed washers and countersunk screws. Transom is now locked to the tubes. No leaks at all.
