As part of Cohen's guilty plea this is what he admitted to....
[O]n or about October of 2016, in coordination with, and at the direction of, the same candidate,
I arranged to make a payment to a second individual with information that would be harmful to the candidate and to the campaign to keep the individual from disclosing the information. To accomplish this, I used a company that was under my control to make a payment in the sum of $130,000. The monies I advanced through my company were later repaid to me by the candidate. I participated in this conduct, which on my part took place in Manhattan, for the principal purpose of influencing the election.

Why do you want answers from us when the trial will answer your questions. The state will show how they believe Trump broke NY State laws and Trumps team will try and dispute the evidence and hope the jury rules in Trumps favor.

There was a 'doorman' that was selling a story about an illegitimate Trump love child. He was asking for 30k. This was happening at the same time the Porn Queen was shopping her story.
The 'doorman' story was found to be a lie...I'd think Stormy could just as likely been trying to extort Trump. So there Trump is, false accusations being made against him....it would have damaging effects on a marriage or on the election. So what do you do, something has to be done to protect yourself.
Stormy took the money and talked anyway...there's plenty of folks out there that'll do that type of thing, like E. Jean did.
