Had my first issue with my 190 sport this weekend. Drove it 20 minutes out to a sandbar, stayed for about 3 hrs and then headed back for home. About 3 minutes into our trip home the high temp alarm went off. Looked at the gauge and it was at high. So I immediately backed off the gas and slowed to an idle speed. let it idle for a few minutes and the temp dropped, but as soon as I accelerated it would go back to high. If I drove at wake speed it would not get to hot, so we drove all the way home at wake speed. A 20 minute drive turned into 1 1/2 hrs. What I think may of happened is I sucked some sand into the Prop went I approached the Sandbar even tough I trimmed up the outdrive when we approached and pushed It in the rest of the way. What kind of damage you think occurred and it is a big deal to fix? Anyone else have this happen before. I will take it in to the dealership to have it looked at this week.
