I am fairly new to Boat Ownership, I have a 540 Sundancer 2013 and the Trim Tabs are not working.
I have been trying to locate the HPU but I cannot locate it anywhere. I also pulled the switch from the Control panel but it is a singular wire that I cannot find past where it can be seen.
I have contacted Bennett, as it is more than likely a Bennett system but they have no information. I contacted Sea Ray and they have limited information, although they are also trying to find where the fuse and HPU unit could be as it is not located near the Transom as shown in their diagrams.
The trim tab switches are apparently what Sea Ray uses in their Yachts fitouts, so it doesn't give me much information, and the fuse is not close or under the switch as would be as Bennett shows, so I am hoping that someone here has had a similar experience or would have suggestions as to where to find the HPU unit or Fuse, or how to work to troubleshoot the switches and control panel?
