Hi!

Changed the trim sender kit last year.
After this the trim meter on the dash board moves just a tiny bit until it swings full up. the trim limit is working fine , and so is the trailer switch part as well. From what i found the resistance in the sender is 0-240 ohms. but running the meter on the workbench it seems as it should have a range of 0-2400 ohms?
Just to make this funny my collegue imported a 250 sundancer , changed his kit, and has the same fault!!

Found several different art.nu. for the senders:
805130a2
805130a4
805130a6 (dual gauges)
805130a8
and kit:
805320a1
805320a2

Anyone who has any ideas of which it should be?

Those senders are junk. When I had a sterndrive boat, I changed them every year and every year the 'improved" design failed. Eventually I learned my lesson and didn't bother with them.

Best regards,
Frank

Sea_ray_290,

What year is your boat? Is the boat Smartcraft enabled? Smartcraft senders are not compatible with non-Smartcraft gauges. The non Smartcraft (older design) senders are however compatible with Smartcraft gauges.

The senders are adjustable, one is trim limit, the other is to the gauge.
