Can anyone tell me where to find or what are the specifications for a trailer for 1994 330DA? I have gone to the Shorelandr site and used their Trailer Finder wizard - but it only shows for 1999 or 2001. I assume it's close, but I would like to know what is used to define good criteria.

Thanks in advance,

Harry

http://zinnermarine.com/models.html#Tri My Dad bought one of these trailers a while back for his 340 EC. Aluminum is much lighter than steel and can be less expensive. Another good route is to give Gary at Eds Boats a call. I bought a demo shorelander trailer from him for a fraction of the price of a new one.

Amazing that they would NOT use a safety chain on that boat......alot of weight on that strap.

Wow, hope they put one on somtime, but the most pressure on the strap will be going up the ramp with a wet boat. Few of those straps are rated over 2500 lbs, MM

Have you ever tried to slide a 10,000lb boat on carpeted bunks.....wet or dry? They do not move. That is why I would not buy a roller trailer. The straps/chains are all that hold them in place. I use a steel cable on my winch and you will never move the 270 once it's on the bunks wet or dry. Chains work best if in an accident at highway speeds....that's about it, Mike.

A rope will hold it......no kidding here. If you had an inch of green slime on the bottom it may move. 10,000lbs adds a lot of friction on bunks wet or dry, Mike.

I understand but as a dealer selling a GREAT TRAILER, I would think a chain would be attatched at the factory and being rated to atleast the maximum weight of the capacity. Im not knocking the product at all....just the manner in which they show how to load SAFELY.
