IMO there is no need for Jim to have to defend himself or his company against any 'slander' lawsuits that might could result from allowing these types of threads to be posted....it is much easer to just not go down that road to start with.....we do enjoy 'freedom of speech' but that has limits....

Jim does a great job with CSR and has always been fair. He hosts this site mostly at his own expense and it is a great service to us. Your inference is insulting and even offensive. Jim owns a marine based business and having this forum allow the bashing of other marine based businesses would be in bad form. Anyone with a tiny little bit of business sense should be able to see that. My $.02.

Also, to be honest, Jim doesn't need me to "stick up for him", but this posters insinuation just struck me as wrong.

Sorry to Jim if it struck him as wrong too.....Your quote about him owning a marine based business and it being bad form kinda proves my point though.......and members should remember WE are the ones that have built a SIGNIFICANT amount of equity for Jim......How much do you think this (his) site is worth on the open market?
